CK Group are recruiting for a Development Technician, on behalf of a leading multinational producer of household plastic products.

This is a full time, permanent position, 35.5 hours per week. Monday to Thursday: 9am - 5pm, Friday: 9am - 3pm, based at their site in Cramlington.

Salary:

Approximately £23,000 per annum.

Your main duties will be:

  • Lamination of exterior films using hot-melt adhesives and primers.
  • Carrying out various material testing.
  • Assisting with New Product Development and trials.

Candidate requirements - skills and experience:

  • Degree/diploma in Chemistry, Materials Science or a related field.
  • Experience of working in a laboratory environment.
  • Must have a full UK Driving Licence, be able to drive and have access to a car.
